Revolution vs. Inter Miami: Foxborough Without the Route 1 Crawl

The Revolution hosts Inter Miami on Sunday, November 1. Supporters circled this one weeks ago. Kickoff comes at 7 p.m., when the November chill settles over the stands. Scarves and hand warmers go in every bag. Nobody plans to leave early.

Drivers cover roughly 22 miles from downtown to the stadium gates. On a game night, the final stretch takes the longest. Cars squeeze onto Route 1 and inch toward the same lots. Attendants wave them in one row at a time.

Leaving takes even longer. Some ticket holders sit in the lot for an hour after the final whistle. Engines idle. Kids fall asleep in the back seat before the car moves an inch.

The lighthouse at the north entrance makes the easiest meeting point. Groups text a photo of it and gather at its base. Crews rebuilt the north end zone in 2023 and topped it with that tower. Fans spot it from the highway long before the stadium itself comes into view.

Patriot Place wraps around the venue with restaurants, bars, and a few shops. Most of the crowd grabs dinner there before the gates open. Visitors in pink Miami jerseys end up at the same tables as locals in Revolution navy. The banter starts over burgers and carries into the stands.

Boston Town Car can pick up a group in the city, drop everyone at the lighthouse, and wait out the traffic while the lots are empty—a typical event transportation run.
